Summary
A compendium of pharmaceutic and pharmaceutical compounding knowledge and experience, Pharmlabs is the brainchild of Dr. Robert Shrewsbury at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, a veteran of pharmacy practice and education. The site compiles laboratory exercises, compounding exercises, formulation records, and pharmacy resources for both human drugs and veterinary drugs as a resource for students, practitioners, and physicians around the world.
For this project, we assembled a survey group of Dr. Shrewsbury’s students to discover what the most important features were to active users of an existing, older version of the site. Taking this feedback, as well as UI/UX principles of design, I created a simple and efficient design layout for the new site, which incorporates the most important features students wanted and maintains a clean, clear hierarchal structure for instruction and review as specified by Dr. Shrewsbury.
